Giving

Giving our finances is an essential part of our discipleship walk and shows our commitment to God and the church.

As followers of Christ we are called to give of our time, talents and treasure!

Simply put, the work of the church would not be possible without your faithful giving.  But giving of our tithes and offerings is so much more than just paying the bills, it is a monumental step of faith that lines us up with God's plan for our blessing. Look at what the Word of God says:

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NIV

So let's be a people who give from a position of faith, believing that God's plan is for our blessing and prosperity as we honour Him with our giving.

On a purely practical level, we are so grateful for your giving and support for the ministry at this time.

Please see the details below to give from your online banking app.

We would be really grateful if you could make your giving a regular standing order, as this allows us to plan our finances more effectively.

If you wish to give by cheque, please make your cheques out to "Reach Church" and post to the church office (Address on contacts page).

Please remember that if you are a UK tax payer, you can complete a Gift Aid form which would enable us to claim 25p for every £1 you donate from HMRC.  Please contact us via email for a Gift Aid form.

At Reach Church we believe in the biblical principle of tithing.  This is the principle of giving 10% of our income into the work of the ministry.  In the same way, we commit to giving at least 10% of our income to the work of other charitable causes. Charities we have supported through our giving include missionaries, Gap Kenya, Care for the Family, the Leprosy Mission, Revive a Life Uganda and many more.

This way, you can be assured that for every £10 you give, at least £1 is given to other good causes. The bible refers to our giving as sowing seed.  Your seed is sown into the life of the church, helping us to keep the work of the ministry and the gospel being proclaimed, and sown again into the lives of others through our giving.

We truly are blessed to be a blessing!
